The WorldSkills international online competition in Quantum Technology competence BRICS Skill Camp has completed

The championship, which was held online 20–25th August 2020, included 3 teams from India, as well as teams form Ghana, China, Russia and Brazil. 

An Indian team, led by Prof. Urbasi Sinha, Professor at Raman Research Institute (RRI) and the trailblazing ideologist of the quantum program launch in India, brought home the grand-prix. Sourav Chatterjee, who scored the maximum possible number of points, became this year’s champion.

Second place goes to the team of Prof. Anil Prabhakar and Gautam Kumar Shaw. Third place goes to the team of Prof. Rama Koteswararao Kamineni and Aakash Niraj Warke.

The main experts judging the competition were the representatives of the company QRate, Tatiana Kazieva and Badim Rodimin. Alexey Fedorov, head of the research group ‘Quantum Informational Technologies’ at the RQC, gave a welcoming speech.
